It is possible to have your characters hometown changed for 20 glory. It is
expected that you would roleplay moving hometowns. It must be in character
for your character to live in the new hometown. For instance it is rare that
we would approve the change of a hometown for a drow character from Menzo to
Waterdeep.
In order to change your hometown for your character make a posting to the
Applications forum, detailing your character's history to date and why your
character wishes to move. Applications will be placed in a queue and dealt
with in order. If the application to move your character is out of the
ordinary, then your application will be put up for the vote before all of the
deities.
We will not approve hometown changes for low level characters who think that
they may start in an easy hometown for coin and easy dummies, and then change
to another hometown for the benefits that come to characters there. This
would be considered abuse of code.
