Combat Stats

The Combat Stats portion of your 'score' sheet indicates your attack bonus
(AB) for each attack you possess. This is the value added to your attack
roll, to determine whether or not you hit your target. For PCs with multiple
attacks (which are skills that must be trained once the PC reaches the
appropriate level), the attack bonus will drop with progressive attacks, even
becoming negative, but you still always have a chance to hit if your previous
attacks in the same round connect. If you are wielding a weapon, the damage
inflicted by that weapon (along with the
damage bonus) is shown, followed by
its
hit bonus and the damage multiplier for a critical hit (which has a
chance of occurring on a natural to hit roll of 20 unless indicated by other
values shown immediately before the multiplier).

* If you are not wielding a weapon, you are using your fists, which employ
the brawling skill and do damage commensurate with your size, plus your
strength bonus. For example, an unarmed medium-sized creature like a human
will do 1d3 + their strength bonus.
