Primitive inhabitants of the Jungles of Chult and the Mhair and
Black Jungles, Wild dwarves are just that. Eschewing their craft
oriented and smithing cousins, they live in an endless battle for
survival, hunting and banding together in everchanging hunting bands.
Wild dwarves live like beasts, dark skinned, and covered with tattoo's
they rarely wear any clothing, save their long woven hair. When going
to war, they cake their bodies in mud, forming a crude armor. Unless
one braves these deep jungles and happens to survive an encounter with
them, it is likely they do not even know of their existence. Having
much more in common with beasts, than their civilized kin, wild
dwarves view each day as an endless hunt, to kill or be killed.
Wild dwarves live communily, in large hunting bands, with children
being raised by all, and little to no clan or family bonds existing.
Every adult is expected to support the band, by watching the children
or leading the hunt. They put little value on anything but weapons,
which they have some small attachment to, as they aid in their daily
survival.
Arcane spellcasters are almost unheard of, though many follow the
call of Druids or rangers, and occasionally a cleric of a wilderness
God or Goddess.
