Gnomes who can use the Magic Weave to cast spells are not very common. Nearly
all of them choose to learn spells and cantrips that will allow them to play
tricks on others or enhance their storytelling capacities. It is thus very
logical that most gnome wizards choose the path of Illusions. Many gnome
villages will have a small illusionists'guild, or at least, an elder gnome
wizard who agrees to teach spells to younger gnomes. Golden Oak is no
exception to that rule.
