Tayza grew up in a small village within miles of Candlekeep. She never knew
her mother growing up and was nurtured under the care of her father who
worked as a guard to Candlekeep. He always wished for the best for Tayza and
told her of many aspirations he had for her. When she turned sixteen he sent
her to Waterdeep to make a future for herself. He had filled her with so
many aspirations she was a lost child in a big city scrambling to understand
what to do with herself. Her first paths of life were found within Oghma's
temple when the teachers found she had a natural ability for magic. She
trained with the wizards within the temple until they could teach her no
more and she was forced to leave yet another place to find a future for
herself. She did not stay in Waterdeep long and traveled to Silverymoon.
There she met Arken who saw great potential in her and invited her to study
in his school. She took up the offer and in the years that followed she
learnt the best magic that was available to her and gave her life to her
faith. Eventually she exhausted her resources in her current guild and the
mage council deemed her worthy to teach her art and asked if she would
construct her own guild. She gladly accepted and soon after was approached
by her lord wishing to grant her the position of Arcane within the church.
Currently she now serves a dual purpose in the kingdoms, Serving as Arcane
of Oghma and as High invoker.
