Wemics are centaurlike creatues with the upper torso of a human
atop a lion's broad shoulders. Much like lions, they are very proud
hunters. About ten to twelve feet long and six feet tall, they are
covered in dark golden fur from head to tail. A wemic might weigh
upwards of six hundred pounds. Male wemics have a long black mane,
with faces that mix characteristics from both humans and felines;
their eyes in particular are much like that of a cat.
Wemics, like lions, live well in nature. Civilized cities are
frowned upon when the outdoors are an alternative. Wemics are
exceptionally patient in most matters except for civilized folk who
don't make an effort to understand the wemic's preference for nature.
Wemics find amongst themselves a large population of druids, which
only makes sense with their attraction to nature. Druids are the only
variety of spellcasters commonly found amongst the wemics. A few who
have spent some time in "civilized society" may have picked up some
general spellcasting knowledge. The favoured class of wemics is that
of the barbarians.
