Yuan-ti

The yuan-ti are a race of snake people resembling a cross between
humans and an ancient reptilian race. The yuan-ti can be classified
into three sub-races of sorts, purebloods, half-bloods and
abominations. Purebloods can, more often than not, pass as human. The
extent of their reptilian features ends with snake eyes, forked
tongues, pointed teeth, and patches of scaly skin. A pureblood is of
average size for humans.

Yuan-ti are often very arrogant and believe deeply that their race
is superior to others. The yuan-ti believe that at one point in time,
Faerun belonged to their ancestors and as such, they have just claim
to it. Often times, yuan-ti will hide in the wild, waiting for their
'tainted ones' to bring them the information they will need to proceed
with an attack. As such, often times yuan-ti are found to be rangers.

Yuan-ti wizards and sorcerers often are found in the schools of
illusion and transmutation, as these magics seem to suit their race
best, obviously.
