There are a few commands which will remove a note from the posts in the game. One, note take, only works if the note is addressed to you. The other, note remove, appears to work regardless of who you are or to whom the note is addressed.
This creates some discontent as people's notes are removed. Just be aware that your notes are not necessarily safe and that the staff is not the only demographic who can remove them. In fact, more often than not; it was someone else.

Re: Note Remove
As it is a bug to be able to remove other peoples notes without imm permissions, I don't think people should remove other peoples notes even if they can. That's my opinion.
Justice is not neccesarily honourable, it is a tolerable business, in essence you tolerate honour until it impedes justice, then you do what is right.

Re: Note Remove
I made a change to all of the common boards in the Realms:
- - there are two commands to remove a note from the boards: note take and note remove
- - note remove
- - Anyone can type note remove # and take any post down
- I added an intercept program to all the common message boards to prevent anyone but an IMM from using this
- this does not apply to every message board in the game, but it should cover all the big ones
- - An author can take a note that he addressed to someone other than "ALL"
- A recipient (addressee) of a note may take that note
- An author, to be clear, may not take his own notes if they are addressed to "ALL"
- - Anyone can type note remove # and take any post down
- - note remove
