In tabletop, this feat gives you an AC bonus (+4 dodge bonus, meaning it would stack with other bonuses, including dodge bonuses) when moving in or out of threatened spaces (Which normally incurs an AoO). It has Dodge as a pre-requisite feat (As well as 13 dex, though since dodge requires such, that might be moot).
Theoretically, especially where I'm going with this ultimately, this feat could require a certain skill level in dodge. Perhaps adept or expert. The downside (or perhaps up side, depending on how you look at it) would be that it would exclude certain classes from taking the feat, and subsequent feats, as they don't get the dodge skill.
I'm not sure if there is currently an AoO incurred when attempting to flee, but perhaps this feat could either negate that AoO, offer the AC bonus against that AoO, or, potentially, even allow someone to choose what direction they flee to. Though I'm going to recommend that as an option for another feat, as well.
[Feat]Mobility
Re: [Feat]Mobility
I second the idea of adding a mobility feat.
Re: [Feat]Mobility
Trillariel, do you have any thoughts on what the feat could do? Either the above options, or others?
Re: [Feat]Mobility
Well, I'd go with allowing folks to choose the direction they FLEE into.
But a combat bonus would be nice too.

Re: [Feat]Mobility
Yeah, I've seen a lot of comments of people desiring that kind of ability. Have you looked at the suggestion for spring attack at all? Either one could conceivably fit that role, though mobility is a pre-requisite for spring attack, so I guess there could be a question of what is reasonable payout for how many feats.
Re: [Feat]Mobility
I don't see spring attack as necessary in FK. Also, its name would not lead people to the fact that it could allow FLEEING in a direction, so mobility is better off as the feat which would allow it.
Re: [Feat]Mobility
Sounds logical to me. =)
One of the main reasons I put spring attack up was because it's a requirement for Whirlwind Attack. Though it's arguable if that's 'necessary' either, I thought it would be an interesting addition, depending on how it is worked out.
But yes, the ability to flee in a given direction seems a rather hot topic.
