Orc village in need of some loving.

Post by Gorwin » Fri Nov 30, 2012 2:29 pm

Few ideas here for ways to possibly improve the orc village.

1. Make all the quest in the temple area actually show up in the qlog.

2. Maybe hopefully add a few more spells and prayers. My vote would be for at least cure moderate and cure serious.

3. Make worgs actully poo like horses and have it useable as a component.

There are alot of great things about the village. It really has that orcy feel to it, these are just a few of the ideas i had while playing a low level orc. Please chime in other suggestions you may have on the area. And yes I am aware there are other areas that probally need loving too, and with the low amount of orc players it probally is not a priority but I figure it doesnt hurt to get a list goin as to what people would like to see there perhaps.

Some of this has come up before ( viewtopic.php?f=77&t=16058&hilit=orc), it just needs someone to do it. I have neither the time nor the interest in making the time to work on the orc village; I would rather focus on some different area projects already in progress.

I'd suggest opening the orc celebration ground area which is locked up to all orcs, there may be a few tweaks to do though as there are some events and items in the area that would need to be off limits, but as it goes when it was originally opened only the hp of Grummsh had the key to it. I don't know how often it was used, but it could be a good existing place for orc rp.

The celebration ground SHOULD be open all the time now. One of the Imms took care of that back when I was active, I believe. If I ever get internet back, I'll happily fix the place up. First thing that comes to mind is the temple; place needs some serious work, as I recall. Most of the items are worthless and I don't think any of the quests are actually able to be completed. The fighter's guild is also sorely lacking. Besides a small number of trainers, and only a couple shops, I don't remember the village itself being too lacking. Mainly needs some sprucing up and maybe a few additions. Feel free to post whatever ideas you have here, and i'll at least start throwing some stuff together for when I get internet back.
