Combat Mode + or - Backstab for rogues
Combat Mode + or - Backstab for rogues
Because backstab is automatic and when successful quite devastating for the victim, I'd like to suggest that a combat mode option be added for it to be turned on and off at player discretion for spars or pvp situations.
Justice is not neccesarily honourable, it is a tolerable business, in essence you tolerate honour until it impedes justice, then you do what is right.

Or a way to cure it? It might be nice to use it in PVP, but the player should not have to suffer the affects forever due to a spar.
Edit: I'm dramatic. The backstab affect doesn't last forever, but you get the idea.

Re: Combat Mode + or - Backstab for rogues
I would suggest that the restoration prayer could be used to remove the related affects. Just like it could be done in D&D.
Re: Combat Mode + or - Backstab for rogues
I agree, the combatmode would be nice. Vibius, that'd be a good solution if the restoration prayer was easily accessible like it used to be - now it's pc only, and in off hours there's often no priests to call.

I also like the suggestion of combatmore. Some particularly secretive thieves might not want to show off their amazing skills in front of their paladin pal. Ahem.
