FK Timeline

Post by Terageld » Sun Jan 25, 2015 2:52 am

After reading many of the fantasy books set in Forgotten Realms, I'm left wondering what year our MUD is currently in. I'm pretty sure the Time of Troubles has already passed. But has Drizzt Do'Urden completed all of his adventures yet? What about the legendary sage Elminster's saga?

Typing timeline into the search function in the forum search box above yielded many posts from the last few years. Here is one link:

Justice is not neccesarily honourable, it is a tolerable business, in essence you tolerate honour until it impedes justice, then you do what is right.

Spelling is not necessarily correct :)

Gwain's post contains info that is spot on, but please see the World Forum for official game lore posts.

e.g. LORE: Setting Summary
"A man may die yet still endure if his work enters the greater work, for time is carried upon a current of forgotten deeds, and events of great moment are but the culmination of a single carefully placed thought." - Chime of Eons

Nope. Mystra lives.

Hrm. I saw a reference in one of the room descriptions somewhere to damage done during the Spellplague. I'll have to keep an eye open for that again so I can bug it, unless someone else remembers where it is.

Perhaps I should clarify... as I understand it, Mystra in our setting is Mystra-who-was-Midnight. The damage referenced could be in Tantras and referring to the damage wrought during the Time of Troubles?

Yes, there is damage done to the Weave, but no Spellplague.

Is Drizzt and his merry band of chaotic-good adventurers walking the FK realms today? That would be awesome.
