Favourite villains

Post by Yemin » Tue Mar 31, 2015 10:03 am

I Think, I've just come across a capstone boss for a level 50 party and one of the more interesting less known villains of the FR universe:
http://forgottenrealms.wikia.com/wiki/Larloch

So, who wouldn't you like to meet in a dark alley? No gods, or demigods like elminster. The less well known the better.
I trained up double-edged bananas because the uber-plantain of doom I scored from the beehive quest was the best weapon in the game. Now it's being treated like a bug and they have gimped its damage! That's not fair! My character is ruined!

A bunch of assassins from the Fire Knives.

I always felt these guys were so cool. Maybe you encounter them while walking down an alley. You witness two of their agents attacking a well-known corrupt nobleman and his guards. You get to make a decision whether to aid the Knives or the nobleman, depending on alignment.

Encountered them on one of my toons. IMM-controlled.

My favorite villains are Aballister and Barjin from Canticle by Salvatore. Aballister because he went from a family man who was joyful and had everything a good aligned person would want to a power hungry Talonite. Also, he has a demon as a familiar which is pretty cool. Barjin because he was a super powerful priest who commanded armies and shot first then took names later. Of course his mace that had the head of a lady on top that filled you with fear if you got bit by her as well as his cloth armour that was stronger than steel were pretty awesome too. Yeah, Barjin was a scary dude I would not like to run into anywhere.

Men of the Basilisk. The Hellfire Club of Cormyr.
A goblin, a trickster, a warrior? A nameless terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. A most feared being in all the cosmos. Nothing could stop, hold, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.

Does Loki from Thor 1+2 and Marvel's Avengers count? :D

If not...I will happily go with Larloch as well and the usual evil sunelf.

Boo the miniature giant space hamster from Baldur's Gate 1 and 2.
Justice is not neccesarily honourable, it is a tolerable business, in essence you tolerate honour until it impedes justice, then you do what is right.

Spelling is not necessarily correct :)
