If a stock character indicates an item is out of stock, does that mean it will never be available again?
There is an item that I want, but it is out of stock at the moment. I can only buy once, so I don't want to purchase an alternative when patience is all I need.

Please post out of stock items to the bugs forum and it can be assessed if it should be updated.

Aticus: please post the specific object and NPC vendor to the bug forums. Lirith is right, but we need more info in order to look into it.
