I read on the FR wiki that Mystra can deny access to the weave to anyone, even gods, but she can't deny god granted prayers to a god's clerics.
is this part of our FK lore as well?

I trained up double-edged bananas because the uber-plantain of doom I scored from the beehive quest was the best weapon in the game. Now it's being treated like a bug and they have gimped its damage! That's not fair! My character is ruined!

I would assume it's part of FK lore.
There was a character back in the early 2000s who was a mage that wound up cursed by the gods (read: Imms) to be unable to access the Weave. In technical terms, they were forced to wear a cursed item that prevented them from casting any spells.

Presumably, the other Gods in FK ring up Mystra when they want one of their servants to lose the Weave. I choose to imagine that, anyway.
