Two-Weapon Defense
Two-Weapon Defense
So I don't really understand this feat that well and I was hoping I could get some clarification. When you take the two-weapon defense feat you get the +1 bonus to shield, but does it then actually act like a light shield and block attacks? If so, do other feats like shield specialization and shield ward apply to two-weapon defense. Or is it that there is nothing linking it to other feats and it simply operates like an item with a bonus to shield?
Re: Two-Weapon Defense
To gain the effects of shield spec, shield ward, and shieldwork, the PC needs to be holding an actual shield. So what you get with two-weapon defense while dual wielding is just a flat +1 AC shield, no other perks.

Re: Two-Weapon Defense
This +1 also does not stack with other shield bonuses, the highest bonus is used.
