Casting whilst sitting

Casting whilst sitting
Nothing elaborate, just wondering if there was any chance of changing stuff so casters can also cast whilst sitting. To my knowledge, all somatic components can be satisfied with just the hands.
I trained up double-edged bananas because the uber-plantain of doom I scored from the beehive quest was the best weapon in the game. Now it's being treated like a bug and they have gimped its damage! That's not fair! My character is ruined!

I just change my pose to sitting here and smote or emote sitting down.
Justice is not neccesarily honourable, it is a tolerable business, in essence you tolerate honour until it impedes justice, then you do what is right.

I do as well when the need is there. Just wondered why it is as it is and if it could be changed as one ofthose little things to better the game.
