A gathering of druids

Post by Irie » Thu Jul 21, 2022 5:26 am

Word spreads throughout the wilds that Forestarm Irie Wooten is calling together a gathering of druids for a discussion of rangers. Senior rangers are also welcomed and encouraged to attend this gathering. We will meet at the Fireside in the High Forest at this time.

(OOC: Going to discuss and implement ideas to get more rangers! Wednesday, August 3rd at 8:30 PM Central time)

Are rangers invited to this discussion of themselves?

If you feel like your ranger fits as a seniored ranger then by all means, join in.

I think the question was a result of the text in red highlight, not a reading comprehension issue. To be clear, new rangers are not invited to a discussion about rangers?

I just thought it might have been missed in the rest of the text, I wasn't trying to be snarky so I apologize if it seemed that way! Irie won't turn anyone short of enemies away, but this really is meant more for druids and rangers of experience. There is a plan to pull more rangers in later!

<Obin, the delusional halfling fighter that -thinks- he is a senior ranger, wanders into the campgrounds.>

I think the intent here is not about some external definition of rank. Rather if -You- want your character considered as such and/or willing to work a bit... be there, get invovled, and Irie is commiting to make it happen.

Its a call to action, not a judgement of personal worth or rank. Just be there if you care, and don't be level 2.

Irie - Kudos for drumming up the hippies new and old.

UPDATE EDIT- I somehow missed Irie's reply right above my own. Please ignore me, lack of sleep does wierd things. I ain't trying to dwarfsplain someone else's event... My apologies.
Between the ringing of hammers in the hallowed halls a chant rises:
"Come brother ye sing with me. Ancient enemies, go cower, hide 'n flee! For dwarves be comin' fer ye!"

I've been trying to attend as many as I can with Mouat. He is old, so he will arrive on time :) Ranger time.

Irie, thanks for doing this. It's good to get groups out, who have similar objectives.

Forests: the final frontier. I am enjoying the voyages of the tree hugging adventurers, to continue their mission of exploring strange new places, to seek out new civilizations, to go boldly where many of our alts have gone before, but not on these current PC.

Sorry, I just had to ...
