When you say "start", do you mean actually start writing your area, or do you mean how do you apply to build an area?
If you want to apply to build an area, send in a request for such to builders@forgottenkingdoms.com.
If you mean actually start coding and writing your area, the http://www.forgottenkingdoms.com/builde ... sons.shtml <-- online builder pages are a great way to start.

If its your first area you won't be starting with online creation. That is reserved for the builders with areas under their belt. You will have to begin the old fashion way..... Pen and paper. But you better make it pencil and paper because no matter who you are you are going to run into mistakes. I my self have gone back and made fundamental changes to my area like three times. Thats alot of erasing
Even before you start with that you should email the builders address and say you are interested. You will get a reply and will basically have to corespont that way for a while. Sharni will ask what you are interested in building and a couple of other questions.
Oh, and if any of this is wrong I am sorry.

I am ready to meet my Maker. Whether my Maker is prepared for the great ordeal of meeting me is another matter.
