Stoneskin

I'm not certain if this has been discussed at all. I have talked to a few wizards, and they seem to think the same, or similar...

Is stoneskin possibly bugged, or under construction?
There was a time when the spell would eliminate -most- physical damage up to X amount of HP, then expire...then one day it would affect you after being cast, but wouldnt protect you against so much as a single HP. While this change isnt cripling, by any definition, it did take out a mage's primary personal defence. I suppose I'm more curious about what the future for stone-skin is than anything else.

Yeah...it does seem to expire after 1 hit every time, 2 tops.

I checked it again today. The rats in the sewers of Waterdeep killed it in one hit every time.

hrm thats no good didn't in one book of drittz when he was training or another of his say that stoneskin was meant to last only 5-10 hits then it goes poof? maybe it was the one where they where after wulgars weapon and he fought that moon elf chick. and he counted his hits so he would know it went poof?

The spell is supposed to ubsorb a X amount of points per lvl of the caster. It's not based on how many hits but on how much damage it absorbs.

This spell is now working again, previously it was bugged and didn't really do anything, now it works again
