I ran into a bit of a fix with my water genasi today-- I walked into the river, thinking I could walk across the bottom, and discovered I didn't have enough stamina to get out and that my stamina was sapped by "swimming" faster than it returns even when sleeping. Unless the helpfile is no longer correct and water genasi aren't supposed to be able to breathe water, is there some way to fix this code-wise without too much hassle, maybe make it so characters that are sleeping in water don't lose stamina? This wouldn't be buggy, I believe, since you wake up when you take damage so non-water-breathers wouldn't be able to sleep in water.
In the meantime I'll see if I can't get somebody to shove me out of the water

Water genasi and waterbreathing
Dear Enemy: May the Lord hate you and all your kind, may you be turned orange in hue, and may your head fall off at an awkward moment.
Air genasi face a similar problem, not having to breathe at all. I've spent a couple of times sitting on riverbeds, too exhausted to move. Not fun.
I like her suggestion, that you should be able to sleep and regain stamina underwater. Otherwise, a lower-level or exhausted character's only recourse is to starve or get some sort of help. And at times, I lacked the stamina to even use the amulet.
