Drow Halfdrow and sunlight

I was noticing something. When at night the scope of vision for a drow in the map drops like those who cant see in utter darkness. I was thinking of since we are sensitive to light. I think this goes to orcs and the like also. That when daylight comes it reduces the scope of our vision on the map and such since light is like we are in utter blackness if we where a human if not accustomed to it I think. When at night the scope of sight is normal for what it is other races that are in broad daylight. Where we can might pick out more in rooms at night to? Just a thought ^^
