I had a question about this. Ive been told there have been priests learning from scrolls. From the old board there was a post, if Im remembering correctly, that priests were not supposed to use the write command to learn from scrolls. They could scribe them and use them. They could not hoever use the scrolls to learn spells/prayers. Is this still the case or can I take thoese hard to find spells and learn them from scrolls.
On another note I for get if we are aloud to scribe travel scrolls and alow people to learn them. There was the discussion of this, because travel spells needed a quest to get, and by scribing them, you get them without the quest.

If a spell can be scribed, then it is fine to sell off those scrolls and let other people learn the spell from it. If a quest spell can be scribed and you think that might be wrong, feel free to report it though. Currently, I think that only the level 8/9 transportation spells cannot be scribed.
Priests can learn from scrolls. The old decision that they can't was based on the fact that priests couldn't learn from scrolls in D&D; but in D&D, priests do not have to learn spells at all, so it's not comparable. Since priests on FK have to learn spells, it's quite natural that they can learn them from scrolls. So... yes, this is fine.
