Simple mobs and the language they understand

Do simple mobs (that is, those coded with just the basic details in #MOBILES) only understand their racial language(s)? If so, how do we know what language(s) they use, is there a list anywhere?

There is no list, but you can get all the standard race information (i.e., the information used for simple mobs) by typing "showrace (racename)".
