Gnome Skin Tones
I think it's just because I really latched on to Glim's old thumbnail picture, but I had it through my head that gnomes were blue-skinned. HELPs and OOC references say otherwise, giving them a variety of earth tones. Am I thinking of another race, here, or losing my mind, or what? Was I committing heracy, confusing them with Smurfs?!? (Only the oldsters out there like me are likely to get that reference...) Thanks in advance for your counsel, folks.

How did I miss this reference?!?Raona wrote:I think it's just because I really latched on to Glim's old thumbnail picture,
Anyways, could anyone help me find this picture again? I cant seem to find it on the web anymore.
Edit: Also, my siggy seems to be broken... anyone know how to fix it?
Glim asks Gwain 'Can I be on the watch?!?'

There is a link in chat somewhere I will find with your old portrait. The signatures were stored in the old forgotten kingdoms website that went down when the new directory was established at gallwey.com you would need to supply a new signature to be used here. Or just get a sample of the original and send the link to here I believe.
May you find the knowledge you seek. If you find something else, it is still knowledge, and as such, still a gain.

Hey, he's not even blue! What little tint there is results, it seems, from the reflection of the purple flame in his hands! Well, silly me. Earth-tone-gnomes for everyone, then!
Happy reunion, Glim! As for your .sig, it looks as though that too was only on the old site, at

Are you hosting your image yourself somewhere, now? If so, maybe someone can pull up your old .sig, too, and you can move it there. Then you just need to update your forum profile to point to it.
