It seems that some spells, though listed in their helpfiles as one falling under one domain or another (with the barred schools appropriate to that wizard guild), are not, in fact, classified as such, since they do not show up as favored spells (in white) on the spell lists of wizards in the guilds the helpfile states they are part of.
For instance, Scintillating Pattern and Earth Reaver, although listed in their helpfiles as evocations (with conjuration and enchanting as their barred schools), do not show up as guild spells on an invoker spell list.
Is it possible to find out which domain/guild these spells actually should be? If they are not invoker spells, should they be available to conjurers and enchanters? If they are, why don't they show up in white on an invoker's spell list?
I haven't checked this for other guilds, but I suppose that, if such is the case for invoker spells, there may be misclassified spells for other guilds.
If this is just a little quirk of the 100s of helpfiles being made for the new spell system, then it's perfectly understandable as well...I'm just curious.
Discrepancies between spell helpfiles and spell domains
Is there a way to apply to the helpfile team?
Thanks, Japcil.
