Language check

Post by Amalia » Sun Feb 25, 2007 4:22 am

If the coding wouldn't be a terrible pain in the arse, I think it would be marvellous to add a function that allows someone to check what language someone else is speaking-- it would be up to players to only use it as appropriate (aka, on someone who is actually talking) and unknown languages would show up as "an unfamiliar tongue," but especially for those characters who've learned a lot of languages, it'd be useful to be able to pick out which one someone else is using without OOC talk.

For some reason, it doesn't do that for me-- at least not enough. I had a whole conversation with someone, but no echo.

It is bugged when using say to. When only using say you have an echo about the different language.
