Asking players to create for temple not of their faith

Would it be to far from proper RP for a priest/priestess to ask another player who has a talent/ability to create something for their faith? i.e. Wynne to ask someone who can sew items to create say a wall hanging for the museum in the temple?

That's a pretty common thing. I remember people asking Lorelie for fountains etc. :)
