Colour codes in adjectives
Yesterday it was brought up in an ask whether using colour codes in one's adjective was permitted or not. I answered that it wasn't, because I was told such once a long time ago.
I was questioned about where I'd heard it OOCly by another player council member, and since neither of us really knew any official ruling on this, I'm posting here.
Is it against the rules of FK to use colour codes in the standard, permanent adjectives (as opposed to temporary changes like with polymorph), and if so, could this be added to the help file for adjectives?

I think that uncoloured adjectives fit better in the FK theme.
What struck me (nearly blind) the few times I checked other muds was all the horrible colours in the "who" list or in the room/object descriptions, so I, for one, would prefer to keep FK more "neutral", less flashy with respect to colours.

The other problem is targeting, as I've encountered by someone who annoyingly used color codes in their disguised description:
{80}cloaked and hooded...
Now try and target cloaked. You can't, and it was annoying to the extreme because the code would have wanted the color code to in order to do the look command.

=========
Syntax: adjective <adjective>
The adjective replaces your default descriptive adjectives based on your
appearance with one of your choosing. Be aware that it must be under 25
characters in length, and once you change your adjective, it cannot be
changed again. You cannot set your adjective after level 25.
The adjective replaces the one to two describing words of your character.
You can find out what your current adjective is by glancing at yourself
or fingering yourself.
A tall slender female human is here.
The adjective would replace the words "tall" and "slender". You keep the
articles, sex and race.
An adjective should not be a feeling or an emotion. For instance changing
your adjective to "grinning" would not be appropriate as your character will
not always be so. It does not look right in a roleplay when A grinning male
halfling starts to sob. The best tactic is to choose an attribute of your
character that stands out. For instance hair colour, skin colour, eye colour
scars and so on.
Please do not use colour code in your adjective, it is against the rules
and makes it removes the coloured word from your target list for the 'look'
command.

If using color codes in disguise or polymorph is an issue - for example with commands which employ the adjective such as look or track - please open another thread. It would be unfair to piggy back that change onto this one and not allow interested parties to discuss it.
