Halflings and height.

Post by Alvirin » Fri Dec 07, 2007 2:17 am

Recently I decided to play a halfling and after character creation I noticed that he has a height of 5.6 feet which would make him extremely unusual tall for his race.

My question is; taking in consideration his height should I him describe like a "short human" or might it be considered a bug/anomally and have its height changed to one more halflingsh?

5'6 feet? That's way too big for a halfling...Most of my elves don't even hit the 5 feet. And Halflings are supposed to be around 2-3 feet...

Sounds like an accident in the production line to me, you shouldn't be near that tall.

Halfling Height/Weight

Oh yes. I am running into that same problem concerning my alt. Ellanore. She's a 4'8" 142 pound Halfling. I mean... wow.

Did you choose to customize her as "short," Elishalis? Trying to work out the mechanics of this bug. I just made a short female lightfoot halfling, she came out at 5' 1". Is Ellanore a lightfoot as well?

Japcil has put this into Bugzilla, and it is being worked on. (It turns out to be a less-than-easy problem!)

Mask went an adjusted all race files, they are awaiting for me to find time to create new characters on the test port to confirm the bug is gone. Not sure if the changes were brought over to the game side.
