Two-Handed Swords
Two-Handed Swords
This may be of interest to some people:

To summarize: two-handed swords aren't as heavy as you've probably heard and Europeans were (recorded to be) folding steel before the Japanese. This is not really news, but it's nicely summarized and succinct. Cheers.

Listen up! People pay good money to see this movie! When they go out to a theater they want cold sodas, hot popcorn, and no monsters in the projection booth! Do I have to come up there myself? Do you think the Gremsters can stand up to the Hulkster?
Re: Two-Handed Swords
So I suppose the Massive Bastard Sword in the southern city begining with a D that weighs upwards of 48lbs or more is a bit much?

What? Do you work for the home-shopping network and are trying to move more units?

While we're myth-busting here...
This site (http://www.albion-swords.com/index.html) has wonderful examples of modern reproductions made with authentic methods. If you are not a student of arms and armor, and have ever wondered what this or that really looks like, then this is a good resource. (They have armor also under the Armor and then the "Mercenary's Tailor" headings). You might also enjoy another site (http://www.armor.com/). In my opinion, these two companies are the best large-scale producers of accurate reproductions in the US (this also happens to have been the late, great Ewart Oakeshott's opinion).
Plus, I just want to spite Selveem so that none of you consider purchasing a katana from the HSN or an "info-mercial".

Re: Two-Handed Swords
Considering those swords are generally not even made in Japan, your suggestion holds no water!
