[COMMAND] Teach

Post by Vibius » Thu Jan 01, 2009 11:41 pm

It would be -very- nice, if feats could be taught as well through this command, perhaps the teacher must had the feats scholar-1 and teacher-1 as requirement to teach feats?

I believe the help file shows that even stats can be trained via this command, however, I don't believe that it is currently active in the game.

I do agree that feats should be able to be taught to others, however, the same innate restrictions should be applied as when attempting to gain them from a MOB.

That being said, some coded checks would need to be placed and I'm not sure how that'd work since (I believe) the current checks are part of an mob program.

Quite right, stats can't be taught currently. Removed the suggestion of such from the helpfile. Thanks for pointing that out!

if stats were be able to be trained it would obviously be different to skills in the fact that just because your strong or wise, doesn't mean you would be very successful teaching it and how would you RP gaining wisdom? isn't that done over time?
