Hi there,
Recently, while idling around with this trade, it occured to me, that it would perhaps be a nice thing if leatherworkers could also craft containers, such as packs/bags/pouches/quivers/bullet-pouches/studded armoury/etc..
Also, it would be nice if leatherworkers were able to craft leathers of different strengths, such as light-armour-leather and medium-armour-leather, (stronger hides, weaker hides) by perhaps sewing a certain number of skins together to gain a thicker piece of leather?
Just a few thoughts

da flüstern die Gräser und wiegen sich leicht
im Wind, der sanft über das Gräberfeld streicht.

I found myself wondering whether or not everyone knows that you can make two types of armour with this trade:
hide armour if you work an untanned skin and leather armour if the skin is tanned.
Studded armour has been mooted before: tanned skin + metal ingot = studded leather
Leather containers could be a possibility in the same way that woodcraft allows a mix of item types to be created.
I'll add it on to my 'interesting things to do list'. Feel free to remind me if nothing happens in six months... well, maybe 12

hmm Couldn't studded leather be plausible now with the precision forge in game? Make moulds for studs each ingot of metal could give several studs per mould. Or well this would be alot more work give it to armorsmiths? if they have a pc trade made leather armor and gave it to a armor smith. They could add studs to them? But ya packs bags and all that would be nice!
I take only what I need and I need everything!

Studs could be cast in the precision forge. Though the name of the piece might end up being
"gold studded leather armour of an owl" maybe make leather that has been proccessed a second time just depend on the type of stud so that you change 'leather armour of an owl' with the addition of gold studs to 'gold studded leather armour'

Justice is not neccesarily honourable, it is a tolerable business, in essence you tolerate honour until it impedes justice, then you do what is right.

Would be a great way to use those lumps of metal you can never find anything else to do with....course, I've never tried using smelt on them, either...hmmm...
