All right, here's my first bash at this. Any suggestions, amendments or errors
noticed would be gratefully recieved! I've kept the old description and
followed with the new one after.
WARRIORS WAY
Corner of Warriors Way and Bazaar Street
N-The Market E-Bazaar Street S-Warrior's Way W-Bazaar Street
Many people come from the market to the north carry bags of goods
that they have purchased. You can hear the yells of hawkers
announcing their wares.
{70}The cobblestones here open out to the north toward the stalls of the market.
Many of the cobbles beneath appear to have been recently replaced, doubtless
as a result of the heavy traffic that passes up and down this road. The street
is lined either side with fine, tall buildings clearly owned by the wealthy.
Come day or night, the street is filled with {30}wagons {70}and other traffic.
Warrior's Way
N-Corner of Warri E-A vacant lot of S-Warrior's Way
A variety of armourers and swordsmiths line this street. Many
adventurer types walk this street looking to buy a good set of
armour and supplies for the road. A vacant block of land is to the east.
{70}This straight, paved road runs to the north and south, and appears to be
kept well repaired by Waterdeep's civic authorities. Large, tall buildings line the
street here, obviously owned and maintained by the wealthy and well-to-do.
Several enterprising {30}armourers{70} and {80}weaponsmiths {70}have set up
premises here and there is a vacant lot of land to the east, clearly awaiting
some new construction.
Warrior's Way
N-Warrior's Way E-Cymbrill's Walk S-Warriors Way W-Cymbril's Walk
This street is clean and tidy. The houses are well maintained and
have an aura of well being about them. The citizens that walk this
street are well dressed and look like they are wealthy.
{70}This well-maintained road runs directly north-south. High walls are broken
up at lengthy intervals by {80}wrought-iron gates {70} along each side of the
street. These walls protect the privacy of the well-to-do who own the rich,
grand houses and here and there it is possible to catch a glimpse of
{C0}liveried {70}private guards who maintain their watches stoutly at the gates
of the properties they protect. A glance past the gates reveal small but
well-maintained {A0}courtyard-style {20}gardens. The {C0}City Watch {70}can be
seen patrolling here.
Warriors Way
N-Warrior's Way E-Jonathon's Armo S-Warriors Way
This part of Waterdeep is very busy. Trade is brisk and only
the best and most profitable of shops have been set up here. To
the east is a large armour shop, with a display of leather and
chainmail armour in the window. To the west is a vacant shop
site for sale.
{70}This well-maintained road runs directly north-south. Along this stretch of the
street lie many shops that are clearly run by the most prosperous and
successful of Waterdeep's traders. Many of these shops appear to sell gear
of a martial nature and most are well-built and well-maintained. To the west
there is a large {30}fence{70} restricting access to an area under development,
and to the east there is a large, {80}barred, {70}bow-window displaying not only
{30}leathers but {80}finely crafted chain.
Warriors Way
N-Warriors Way E-Willy's Weapons S-Corner of Warri W-Darkness
Warriors Way is well known for its wide selection of armour and
weapons shops. To the east is Willy' Weaponry with an elaborate sign
hanging above the door. A selection of fine weapons is displayed
attractively in the window. To the west is a vacant lot of land marked
to be built on, squeezed in between the many other premises here.
{70}The stones lining the road here are neat and well-maintained, the different
s{80}h{70}ad{80}e{70}s hinting at the frequency of their replacement. The road
runs north-south here and between the homes of the prosperous there are several
shops run primarily to sell the works of master-smiths. One is particularly
prominent here, {90}'Willy's Weaponry'{70}, on the east of the street. Two old,
{80}ru{30}s{80}ty swo{30}r{80}ds {70}have been hung up to cross over the door
and a large {30}wooden sign {70}marked with the name of the shop in Common
hangs into the street. To the west lies a slightly rubble-strewn area of land.
Corner of Warriors Way and Selduth Street
N-Warriors Way E-Selduth Street S-Warriors Way W-Selduth Street
A company of soldiers march the length of Warriors way ready to
protect their city if the need arises.
{70}This crossroads is busy and very well maintained and is lined for the most
part by {F0}large, governmental or civic buildings.{C0} Well-dressed, well-
equipped soldiers {70}can often be seen parading and drill in the courtyards
which lie just past the high, iron gates. One road runs {80}north-south{70},
whilst another crosses it {80}east-west.
Warriors Way
N-Corner of Warri S-Warriors Way
This straight stretch of road has vacant shop sites on each side.
In the windows are large signs saying 'For sale - Kingdoms Realities.'
The way is well travelled with adventurers, merchants and Waterdeep
citizens alike.
{70}This long, straight stretch of road is lined with the homes of the wealthy
and successful, as well as large shops run by the most successful of merchants.
Some plots appear to have been marked off for sale with {30}wooden signs{70},
which read in Common, {50}'For Sale - Kingdoms Realities.' The {C0}City Watch
{70}can be seen regularly patrolling the street.
Warriors Way
N-Warriors Way S-Waterdeep Way
Vacant shops are on either side of this street. In the dusty windows
hangs large wooden signs with the words For Sale! Kingdoms Realities.
The way is well traversed by adventurers, citizens and merchants alike.
It is also well patroled by the Waterdeep Watch.
{70}Branching off from the street to the south this a long, straight stretch
of cobbles heads directly north. Most of the buildings at this junction are very large
and well-appointed. Some premises and plots appear to have been marked off
for sale, with {30}wooden signs{70} that read in Common, {50}'For Sale -
Kingdoms Realities.' The {C0}City Watch {70}can be seen regularly patrolling.
