FK time span and gods

Post by Alaudrien » Sat Aug 08, 2009 6:10 pm

Hi I was writing this so for myself and others in future reference. What is FK's timeline like..what dieties are alive/dead/or risen to godhood or demipower

I know Bane is dead but to be resurrected and Waukeen rescued but I mostly want to find out what gods are dead and who demipowers and such have risen IE the nameless bard-Finder Wyvernspur and the like.
I take only what I need and I need everything!

A great deal of online resources have been reconned since last August, this is because of the 4th edition. We still observe the 3rd edition so basically time for us rest at the cusp of one year rl before the events of Faiths and Pantheons third edition took place. However, we are divergent in so many aspects that it could be said we are operating in a timeframe of at least 50-75 years after the Time of Troubles (Assume that everyone has a memory or recollection of the event) And that King Azoun is still alive. The Horde Wars happened as did the reconquest of Mithril Hall. If you go back into game history I can confirm there were roleplays that predate the current version of the game. The current version of the game with the current administration came into being after February 2005 and has been since then updated several times with a new combat system, spell system and sizes system along with countless areas. However before that, stretching back to late 1999 to 2001 we can be sure that two rp's occured:

It was mentioned on the ezboard forum (Gone since 2003) that A Time of Troubles rp was accomplished at the beginings of the mud. There are no real existing records of it available in game or outside that I know of, as they may come from two forums ago and the previous owners administration.

There was an rp to introduce Mithril Hall that was similar to the plot established in Canon sources with probably a few differences. This more than likely took place before 2002.

Moving along there were several rp's before 2004 that were non canonical and more or less were forgotten or documented through ic character means and remain in the consciousness of those involved. There are a few that really don't need mention for the most part. These have since been supplanted by events that have worked to involve most of the game's player population.

In 2005-2006 we had the return of Waukeen rp along with the Reclamation of Ardeep and Environs. There have been several roleplays since that have been interesting in scope and reference and more than likely have shaped events to the present day.

Therefore we can assume that Bane will return eventually, all the gods that are dead are more than likely the ones killed off canonically in the rules settings for third edition and given the time needed to manage a huge event, the gods that came to life will more than likely return. FK is for the most part still in the third edition and will probably not move into the fourth unless the administration decides to. If that is so, probably no deities will die unless events we shape in the world itself happen.
Justice is not neccesarily honourable, it is a tolerable business, in essence you tolerate honour until it impedes justice, then you do what is right.

Spelling is not necessarily correct :)
