Village, a beginning.

Post by Vantaniael » Sun Aug 09, 2009 1:56 am

Hello.

I am just beginning to look into trying a hand at building an area. With this is mind, I'd like to start with something like a small village.

So far the idea is to have a town divided, both literally (by a river) and metaphorically divided. One half of the town is old families loyal to Cormyr, and the other Sembia, with all the griping and small town politics reflective there of. This is not set in stone, but a starting point for the area.

If anyone has any ideas to make it more interesting or something they feel is missing or would be useful to add to the game, I would welcome any ideas, input, comments, or even weighing in on Cormyr and Sembia to lend more accuracy to the area.

Many thanks to anyone, and everyone who could help.

If you need any help with this, let me know. I'd be happy to do whatever help is needed.

I don't know how frequently he's monitoring the forums, but if you shot this idea through PM over to Harroghty, I'm willing to bet he could help whenever he had time. He's helped me with coding, and in my eyes, is the authority on the Cormyrean regions. That being said, if you need anything specific, don't hesitate to ask me, either! I'll help if I can, though I'm not the best builder myself. :B
