Time for another silly question!
Is there any way to check on the status on an application? Specifically, after recieving the auto-confirmation email and after the 2 week usual discussion time mentioned in the stickies.
Seems out of place to make another post in the application forum to ask "what's up?" and the forum stickies say bring questions to general forums... so, here I am! Something I can do besides sitting quietly like a good lil dwarf?

Re: Applications question
My friend, I wish that there was, but it has been my experience that it's just best to wait.

Re: Applications question
I'm still stuck in the old ways of email addies. Forum apps are still 'new" to me. Figured there wasn't much I could do but, no harm in checking. Its that little voice that says "That one time you don't ask, you should have!" haunting me again.

Re: Applications question
Is there some sort of follow up that comes if the application takes longer than the stated time to go through? because sometimes you are sitting there wondering "Well....I don't want to make a hassle, but it would be nice to get an update"
Re: Applications question
I believe that it's up to your judgment about that, but it is for Kelemvor or Lathander to say what they would prefer. What do you all say about it, please?

Re: Applications question
Thats what I was asking about. You don't want to sound pushy or demanding, but you don't want to fall through the cracks either (mistakes happen, we're human). Silence can be a scary companion.Briek wrote:Is there some sort of follow up that comes if the application takes longer than the stated time to go through? because sometimes you are sitting there wondering "Well....I don't want to make a hassle, but it would be nice to get an update"
