[SKILL]Leatherworkin

Post by Cret » Sat Jan 09, 2010 11:47 am

As this is already a skill I would propose changes/fixes to it.

Foremost, when creating a piece of armor : hide Armour of a yeti (perfect)

its only key words are 'hide' and 'armor'. Allow yeti to be used as well once the armor is made.

Seccondly, in most cases amor is either:
{white}hide armor of {monster color}monster
or
{brown}leather armor of {monster}monster

Alow the armor to be one solid color. or the first color of the first part of the monster (as in certin cases monsters have multi colored names.)

{monster color}hide armor of a black snake

Thirdly, when you skin a monster it would be nice to be able to change the 'skin' to a more suitable description.
ie. the skin of a naga guard.
you would be able to change it to
the skin of a naga.

this might be a little much, however in the case of skinning named mobs...
the skin of Sinar'an - might be turn to - the skin of a drow.

Finally, all this being said.. If there was a way to restring the armors them selves.
a hide belt of a yeti
to
a yeti hide belt.
and in cases of armor, drop the a before yeti
hide armour of a yeti
to
yeti hide armor.

These are just some simple things i came up with as Ive been doing alot of this.

Oh my goodness, that would be such a nice change. Actually, if I'm not mistaken, the other keywords get stripped when the skin gets tanned, too. Organization is hard!
