[EVENT] Reception at the Spires of Morning (Lathander)

Hear Ye!

An informal Reception will be held at the Spires of Morning to celebrate the occasion of the annual Temple Cleaning and to help deplete old liquor stores. All goodly (or those who are willing to try to be goodly) folk are invited. Entertainment will be provided by the Dawngreeters, the hottest performing act since the Sunfire Singers!

Faithful of Lathander, you are requested to come to the Spires of Morning in Waterdeep to discuss esoteric theological subtleties, gorge on pastry, harass hopefuls, and help me plan a MAJOR upcoming event for the general public. I look forward to seeing everyone!

Refreshments will be provided, and entertainment will be willingly or unwillingly provided by the attendees! All Faithful, especially our newest hopefuls and questees are requested to attend.

I will be available in the Spires at this time to discuss the theology and practice of Lathander's Church and continue any previous discussions about the Faith. (I will try to have ready the documents we discussed previously.) Any interested parties are welcome. As always refreshments will be provided!

PLEASE NOTE: I've faced some recent criticism about faith stuff which is both hurtful and very unfair. I'm not Lathander's FM, nor have I ever been. I only try to facilitate an RP that I enjoy and care much about. I have no control over faith decisions and any concerns about recent faithings or lack-of-faithings needs to be addressed to the game staff and not me. Please honor my request to not bring this OOC stuff up to me or try to include it in RP. (You are of course free to organize Faith Events yourself and gripe all you want about me when I'm not there.

Thank-you for the time you put in to setup these meetings. My apologies for not attending a few times as I have been busy. Also, thank-you for clarifying that you are not the FM. I think some, who have complained, did not know that fact.

My Lathanderite will try to make it.

I've got a really short window of time available today, so I have to keep it to the time above. But I can do earlier this coming Saturday, so I'll also be around from this time onward until RL drags me off.

These short events are mostly for hopefuls and any I have been trying to catch up with for outstanding quests (I am able to take people through to 'quested'). For any who miss them we will be having a very special upcoming Celebration...so stay tuned for a posting on that!
