A fire
A fire
Can we get a zero level spell that starts a mundane fire? The kind of fire you can start with any flammable object.

The ignite spell exists in D&D

but it still requires the flammable object.
Would still be fun to have it in game.
On another hand, it should be easier to have flammable object in game.
going to post another thread about that.

That spell was made up by someone that plays D&D. It's not an official spell.Eltsac wrote:The ignite spell exists in D&D

There probably is a spell that does what you're suggesting (D&D has a lot of spells). Come to think of it, Prestidigitation should be able to work like a magical lighter (in fact, the Pathfinder version explicitly mentions that use).
However, if I'm understanding correctly, you're asking for a spell that makes a fire without a flammable object to ignite, right? If so, the spell is already in the game, but making a fire from nothing at all requires more power than a 0 level spell can provide.
Fire is ridiculously easy to get ahold of in FK. I mean, you can take any wooden or fiberous material and simply type IGNITE (without even using flint and steel), and BAM! Fire.

Re: A fire
That spell's restricted to Druids and 2 specific domains. It may be in the game, but that's like saying 'disease' prayer is in the game considering next to no one has it.

Re: A fire
I've never been hit with Disease, but someone has set me on fire with that spell. Druid and domain spells tend to be pretty exclusive. There's nothing unusual about that, and it's part of what makes them fun to play.Selveem wrote:That spell's restricted to Druids and 2 specific domains. I've also seen no less than two magic items that do nothing but make a fire in the room you're in. And, again, there's the extremely flexible Ignite skill, which is available to all classes, trainable at a low level, and very easy to find a trainer for. Besides that, it works so ridiculously well that it's pretty much indistinguishable from magic.
For whatever purpose you might want an unlimited supply of fire for (Unlimited favor generation, I would assume?), it's really already there.
