Blackened Hands

Post by Kaaurk » Fri Oct 21, 2011 9:37 pm

It can be picked up, worn on the hands.
It cannot be worn with any other armour.
It is medium in size and would fit any body type.

I was wondering if these could be changed to allow the wearer to wear gauntlets or gloves over top of them.

No, they are LAYER_ALL in order to balance their substantial coded benefit.

Unless I'm missing something I wouldn't say that it is a substantial benefit. Would it really be unbalancing if you could wear mundane armor over top of it. There are gauntlets in game that give the same benefit.

Edited: The specifics of the benefit are not really appropriate forum conversation.

From an rp purpose, the holy item itself is a sign of respect and power in that religion or culture, so it would probably not be covered. I'd suggest alternatively making them removable without junking if that's still the case.
Justice is not neccesarily honourable, it is a tolerable business, in essence you tolerate honour until it impedes justice, then you do what is right.

Spelling is not necessarily correct :)

That was done a while ago when I made a similar request. They can be safely removed now, last I checked.
