It looks like the area checker will return the rather opaque line
global name 'sFunctionNanm' is not defined
if the same VNUM is used more than once. I suspect that is a typo in the area checker code. Can one of you area gurus take a working area, duplicate a VNUM, and confirm you get that error?

It may do that, but it also gives you another clearer line following; I had this the other day.
