Selling Wands
Selling Wands
I've been getting a lot of wands as random magic item rewards. This wouldn't be a problem, except that no shopkeeper I've found, will purchase them. Would it be possible to have them added?

Re: Selling Wands
It's still not a -problem-.
Can we get game suggestions that are written out suggestions, and not one line half complaints here, please?

The suggestion of a mob willing to purchase magical items such as wands and scrolls and potions is one I agree with, but how this is written personally I'd have no desire to put it in game.Lately I've noticed many of the quests I do give the RMI reward of a wand or scroll that is not benefiting my character. Because so many characters are also getting them, it's hard to barter these items ICly with others. I'd like to suggest that either the amount of wands and scrolls given from RMI be lowered, or shops begin to purchase these items at a reasonable price.
Beshaba potatoes.
Re: Selling Wands
I am in complete agreement with this. Wands and scroll are pretty much useless in the game, unless it is something that is super rare. A merchant that would be willing to pay a decent price for these quest rewards, in my opinion, is a good idea.
Nylo, Next time try to add a little more to your idea. I would not want anyone to get discourage to post suggestions for the game. Just be a little more in depth next time.

Re: Selling Wands
It's not just about adding more, it's about saying things negatively. Calling something a problem, or useless etc is not motivating for change.
Elaborating on something so it might function better gives opportunity for rational and fruitful discussion that might even lead for more from something than the original poster even imagined.
By no means is requesting more elaborate and less negative/complaint-like posts a meaning of discouraging posting all together.
ON TOPIC:
Let's not limit it to just the opportunity to sell wands and scrolls, but perhaps a change in what comes on them? For example, scrolls of armor are pretty plentiful, but wizards start with that spell by default. That spell could be removed from the lineup for RMI scrolls.

Re: Selling Wands
I call unfair criticism, here. This issue has been brought up on many occasions. The fact that many have agreed it should be put back in the game, yet hasn't, is fair game. Whether it's enjoyed or not, it's in human nature to become frustrated with things that refuse to change and seek medium to have their grievances heard. It's such an important concept that it's even the 1st Amentment in the US Constitution.Mele wrote:It's not just about adding more, it's about saying things negatively. To be back on topic: I am still of the opinion that wands and scrolls should be able to be sold in-game again.
