Journey of the Lance

Post by Harroghty » Thu Jun 28, 2012 2:58 am

Heralds in taverns and inns across the Realms chatter excitedly of a series of jousts to be held across in Faerun...

Beginning in August there will be a series of jousts during which victorious appellants may accrue points to be spent on certain rewards. The points will be gained by standing in each individual contest (first, second, or third place) and the rewards will be more of a role-play nature (blazons, mundane garments bearing them, etc.). Anyone who meets the individual tournament requirements and can compete (codewise, any human or demihuman with the mounted combat feat and a horse) will be allowed to ride, but only members of the following classes or categories will accrue points: squires, paladins, application knights, and members of cavalier organizations (e.g. Ebon Spur).

Dust off your saddles and your lances.

Looking forward to this. On days where possible I will attend!

Been waiting eagerly for something like this to happen. Awesome!
"He served, but found no pride in service. He fought, but took no joy in victory. He drank, to drown his pain in a sea of wine... ...It was hate that drove him. Though he committed many sins, he never sought forgiveness."

First Challenge:

Defendant:
  • Harroghty 2 points
Appellants:
  • Nerian 1 point
    Alitar 1 point
These points count towards nothing but some joust "flair" that will be announced later. Points will be cumulative across all the events.
