Elke is a book-mage, and so writes down a -lot- of stuff. What I was thinking here was that rather than keeping notes on loose parchment there could be a pre-prepared object that looked like a 'notebook' or 'journal' instead? Not necessarily like a book with different pages to look at, although that would be great! - just something that looked different from parchment when you picked it up. Although, maybe there could be blank notebooks for sale with ten 'pages' that you could write in?

Not a very needed or important suggestion, but I think it might be a fun object to have around.

Could one not just rename a container to a notebook and keep pieces of parchment within it?

I don't know? I think the other option would be for a folder or portfolio like bards have, but honestly I could see Elke carrying around piles and piles of parchment in it!

Older books are mostly folios (bundles of pages) That have been sewn into a hard book or cover case. Something that we could do is create a portable noteboard that players can cary and 'post' notes in. The only issue would be that the notes cannot be edited once posted and if they are addressed to all they are not removable by the player.

Would it be possible to 'remove' them like with a standard noticeboard (like tearing the pages out)?

You could suggest a pencil stylus be added to the game through the builder's email.
