Endurance Feat

I would like to see the endurance feat fall in line with the rest of the 3.5 changes in FK:
That is how it is worded according to the Wizards website. To see it applied in game, certain changes would need to be made. My suggestions:
I don't really see the endurance feat being too useful right now, nor does it fit with current 3.5 rules. I'd like to see it changed to a one-rank feat with the above-mentioned benefits, just like the handbook dictates. It will then have some useful purposes as well some RP benefits (the extended duration for hunger/thirst).
EDIT: I just thought of a possible idea for the continue running aspect of this feat. Instead of adding a set number of movement points, this feat allows you to make a roll when you run out of movement points. If you succeed, you 'endure' and gain a small number (like 5-10%?) of movement points to keep on moving. If you fail, you have to rest. Maybe it could be modified so that if you succeed the check, you can't do the check again until you rest back up to 100%?
Code: Select all
ENDURANCE [GENERAL]
Benefit: You gain a +4 bonus on the following checks and saves: Swim checks made to resist nonlethal damage, Constitution checks made to continue running, Constitution checks made to avoid nonlethal damage from a forced march, Constitution checks made to hold your breath, Constitution checks made to avoid nonlethal damage from starvation or thirst, Fortitude saves made to avoid nonlethal damage from hot or cold environments, and Fortitude saves made to resist damage from suffocation. Also, you may sleep in light or medium armor without becoming fatigued.
- +4 bonus to checks for swim
+4 bonus to con checks for underwater breathing (or however the game has it coded)
Extended duration between getting hungry or thirsty
+4 bonus to suffocation (I believe there is an Umberlee domain spell that fills its target's lungs with water?)
