I was wondering something, why is it impossible to mine in the new Underdark Wilderness area?
It seems to me a great place for mining expedition, and could lead to great roleplay with complete mining expedition with guards and miners and so forth.
Plus it seems a dangerous enough place to find rare metals and last, when will we get an opening to that place from Mithril Halls ????
I dream of a big door guarded by dwarven defenders that allows the most respectable dwarves to go directly in the Underdark

Re: Mning in the Underdark Wilderness
Mining, yes.
MH access, not so much. Something like that would need to be handled very carefully to ensure it is a one way street. In part because MH is a dwarf only area and should stay that way (until there is a big rule change) and secondly, MH is hard enough for young dwarves without someone dragging a purple worm into the city proper.

You do not need to change the world, merely leave it a little better than how you found it.

I agree that it should be a one-way exit IF it were implemented. As for protecting the young ones, make it like the training rooms in reverse and say "You do not feel ready for this path" or something when you try to enter.Nysan wrote:Something like that would need to be handled very carefully to ensure it is a one way street. Was thinking more about someone dragging something out (think Ardeep?), but yes that too. A Blue Alley level check would be perfect.Lysha wrote:I agree that it should be a one-way exit IF it were implemented. How about a no drag/push flag?Nysan wrote: Was thinking more about someone dragging something out (think Ardeep?), but yes that too. A Blue Alley level check would be perfect.

Re: Mining in the Underdark Wilderness
I was personnaly thinking about a huge door that you can pass only with a keyword and not a standard direction command, would allow a IC level check and an impenetrable wall against trepasser and mobs.
