Just to post this as a heads up, Kaaurk, and I will be gone Friday, Sept 30th - Monday, Oct 3rd. in preparation to go meet my parents in Edmonton and then they are staying with us Monday to Friday morning, up from the States. As some have seen, Gilain and the rest of my brood are back. However, my log-in times are shaky. I don't believe there is any unfinished RP business with any of my characters, but if there is please send me a PM.

NOTE: Open weapon/armor/whatever orders placed with Gilain are not considered unfinished RP business. Please contact him in-game for such things (mail preferred!). Thanks.

This sucks horribly....there will be an 8-14 day period some time this month that I will not be on FK whatsoever. I will be stuck on my ship and not permitted to leave. The dates of me being gone are ALL dependent on the contractors and how fast they get the work prepped and how quickly they finish. So there will be no warning, I am sorry

No school this week, so I will try to be about more in the afternoons (CST), so if you need me, it will be easier for me to be on. On the other hand, this weekend is boyfriend's birthday, and for his present, we are going to Oklahoma for some casino action, and won't be back until Sunday evening. I hope Tymora smiles on us!

New classes start up again the following week, so then it will be back to the same ol' schedule. Catch me while you can! XD

November 06-19 I am not sure how much I will be logging on. I found out my command is sending me to a school in Florida, and it is a "high risk school" So I will be taking my computer with me, but I do not even know if I will have time to log on.

Hello all. I am posting in the official "I'm back" thread to let everyone know that I have been sucked back into the FK vortex. I have been playing again for just a few days but it really is like putting on an old pair of shoes. This game that the users and staff have created is really spectacular and I really did miss the role playing and all of the friends that I made.

However, I did want to post here for an additional reason. It seems the old trusty pair of shoes have had a few upgrades! I have been catching up on all the threads and the changes and all I can say is wow. I have yet to find a change that I did not really enjoy and view as an enhancement to the game. Kudos to the coders and the folks that made the suggestions. Very well done indeed.

I tried to come up with some epic saying to put in this post that would express my happiness that the game is still fantastic and the folks here are easily in the top ten percentile of the awesome scale...but all I could come up with was:

I can haz magic sword naow?

Welcome back todd. Oh and yus you can actually have a magic weapon fairly easily nowdays, Find real intresting ones on merchants all the time and from random quest rewards.

Feeling like coming back cause I'm toying with character ideas.

Unfortunately kismet requirements shoot them down every time. Found Keller too boring, don't want to do another neutral/good human. Sadness.

edit: Not wanting to come off as a whiner or appealing for changes! Just noting that my interest in playing has spiked recently, and I'm creating and weighing options, just that most of my options are either impractical (due to kismet) or uninteresting (due to being vanilla/overplayed which is only the fault of my own creativity).

I spoke with Adam Genesis' player today; he asked me to relay that he won't be on for a bit as he's spending time with family. He said he believes he'll be back fairly soon.
