I see a 'entrance to Candlekeep' and 'entrance to Beregost' in Sword Coast, but cannot enter either... what's going on?
EDIT 2: A part of Long Way is labeled Mirabar, yet there's no way to enter the city.
EDIT 3: Found entrance to Luskan, but no way to enter the city.
Are those under construction but not in-game, like Baldur's Gate? Then an OOC info should be added, just as with Baldur's Gate... Or is it a bug?
City entrances - puzzled new player
Re: City entrances - puzzled new player
This should be pretty clear. The map of Faerun is mostly accurate, but not every spot on the map has been developed into a proper area. Therefore some are spots on the map and nothing more. There is a spectrum for areas that ranges from nothing to a name on the map (e.g Suzail), a placeholder (e.g. Selgaunt), or a proper area (e.g. Waterdeep). Even a small area is a huge contribution of time and effort from a builder. Entrances to areas from the world map are usually denoted by a ?. There are some hidden areas that do not have that character, but the cities and settlements will have one.
If you are interested in a particular area being added to the game then I would be glad to being to orient you to the building process.

Well, I'm most interested in seeing Beregost and Candlekeep. Also, Nashkel would be nice...

Trillarel: You could start with help new builders and go from there. It describes the process involved in making a new area. There is a learning curve involved in building if you wish to do it yourself (and you have choices about how steep that curve is depending on which coding method you choose), or you could find a builder willing to collaborate with you.
Not surprisingly, the project to build a large town or city is an enormous undertaking. My file for Tilverton (on the shelf awaiting more time to polish it) is unfinished and already hundreds of pages long.

Re: City entrances - puzzled new player
I could possibly tackle Nashkel - I see it's already in the ideas list. I found a map from Baldur's Gate cRPG, as it's really faithful to the canon sources.

I could tackle the second area probably as soon as I know how to do it... 6 rooms isn't a lot.

You would have to follow the process detailed in the help file.
