It would be nice to have a 'collapse' command to close gates from the gate spell.
Is there anyway we can get ';' to act like it used to in combat? Ie, you can chain more than one action, ';' signifying what you want to happen in the next round. Is there an imbalance reason to not have it like this? Even if it took two rounds to get off a chain of actions, giving up a round, I would be okay with this.

The problem with ;, so far as I understand it, is the MUD only queues one command in advance. So if you send two using ;, the first is ignored.

Exactly what I am saying. We saw this change when the combat system became more heavily focused on by-round actions. I am not saying we change the by-round focus, just that when you use an ';' the second action is passed on to the next round.
